- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until clear to remove excess starch.
- In a medium saucepan, combine rinsed rice and milk; heat over medium, stirring until it simmers.
- Stir in sugar, vanilla extract, and salt; reduce heat to low.
- Simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes, stirring frequently until thickened.
- Gently fold in mixed berries and remove from heat.
- Serve warm or chill in the refrigerator before enjoying.
