Description

Delicious and soft chocolate crinkle cookies rolled in powdered sugar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sugar and oil until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  4. Gradually stir in dry ingredients until fully combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dough by tablespoonfuls and roll into balls.
  7. Roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat generously.
  8. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until tops are cracked but centers are soft.
  10. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
