Description

A delicious beef taco bake that combines seasoned ground beef, refried beans, and melted cheddar cheese in crunchy taco shells.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 hard taco shells
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, tomato paste, and water. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add refried beans and mix until fully combined and heated through.
  5. Arrange taco shells upright in a baking dish.
  6. Spoon the beef and bean mixture into each taco shell.
  7. Top each taco generously with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and shells begin to crisp.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Feel free to add your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
