Description
A delicious beef taco bake that combines seasoned ground beef, refried beans, and melted cheddar cheese in crunchy taco shells.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 10 hard taco shells
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.
- Stir in taco seasoning, tomato paste, and water. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- Add refried beans and mix until fully combined and heated through.
- Arrange taco shells upright in a baking dish.
- Spoon the beef and bean mixture into each taco shell.
- Top each taco generously with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and shells begin to crisp.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
