- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Boil the egg noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded chicken, cooked noodles, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir gently to coat everything evenly.
- Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and smooth the top.
- In a small bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling.
- Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
