Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two 9 inch cake pans.
- Whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix sugar, oil, and eggs then add buttermilk, food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients gently until smooth.
- Divide batter into pans and bake 25 to 30 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Beat cream cheese and butter then add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Assemble cake and frost evenly.
