Description
Delicious honey glazed carrots that are easy to make and full of flavor.
Ingredients

- 1 lb carrots
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the carrots and slice them into evenly sized rounds or on a bias if using whole carrots. Baby carrots can be left whole.
- Boil the carrots in salted water for 5 to 6 minutes until just tender, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in the honey until the mixture is smooth and slightly bubbling.
- Add the cooked carrots to the skillet and toss well to coat in the glaze. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes more, stirring frequently until glossy and slightly caramelized.
- Season with salt and optional black pepper. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving if desired.
Notes
- This recipe is perfect as a side dish for any meal.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
