Delicious and tender honey soy chicken thighs that are perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic. Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear marinated chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove chicken and add reserved marinade to the skillet; bring to a boil and simmer until thickened (3-5 minutes).
  5. Return chicken to the skillet to coat in sauce, cooking for an extra minute.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles and garnish with green onions.
